I have just watched this film on TV here in England, and on the whole I thought this was a very good film. As others have said, Nana's performance was excellent, and the none of the other cast members gave anything less than good solid performances. Plenty of other people have given their opinions here, regarding technical aspects of the film, so I will add nothing more on that matter. At first one believes this is another 'cops and robbers' story, but it was for me much deeper than that. It shows that not all that looks good, really is good, and it shows the price of mis-placed trust and loyalty...(Suchak, and Zameer) It also shows that trust, loyalty and respect, earnestly and honestly earned, never wanes...(the Crime Branch Officers and Agashe) I found the scene where Imtiaz pulls over at the roadside to kill Agashe truly touching and beautifully observed by both the Director and the Actors. This is Mr Vermas directorial debut; I do believe, in time, he will become a Master of his art.
the movie was simply jhakkas, my friends fored me into watchin this movie which i thought was a big flop but i was completely wrong. the movie was fantastic, n every part was good to watch. all the actors working were superb in their roles but it was nana patekar who stole the thunder down under. after watching the movie we friends straight away went 4 the next show to see it again.even though it included some foul languages it was fun to see. my mom n all the good thinking ppl in my group did'nt like the picture due to this reason. but today
