it's sad to face the fact that our master storyteller, one who'd expolred almost every genre, except horror, with equal finesse has passed away calmly. this painstaking craftsmen has inpired generation of filmakers with his sublime stories and the way they were presented on the silver screen.a man with the exception of V.Shantaram, is responsible for creating maximum number of filmmakers.it's disheartening to know that not a single filmmaker of our generation had said or wrote a single word about this maestro. if we want to succeed in our respective dields we should always look back to past with respect because it's the fruits of their hard work which we are bearing.

'Kora Kagaz' was another landmark film that Vijay
Anand acted as hero and succeeded. You missed this
film in your list where Vijay Anand showed his acting

I happened to be in India for two weeks holidays and got the opportunity to attend function in honour of Dev Anand's celebration of Dada Saheb Phalke award held in Merriot hotel. I heard Vijay Anand speaking in honour of Dev Anand and I clearly remember him getting emotional over his brother Chetan Anand' death. How dev Anand made him comfortable by saying next is he in the line to go. Little did Dev Anand knew that it is soon his brother turn to leave him. I was very much impressed to hear him and see him.
He will be sadly missed by everyone who knew him.
My sincere condonlences are with the family. may god give then strength to bear the loss.

What a pity? It is news to me that it was Vijay
Anand who directed my favourite movies Nau Do Gyarah, Kala Bazaar and Tere Ghar Ke Samne. They were master pieces. My heartfelt condolences to Dev Anand in his hour of sad bereavement. May his soul rest in peace.

A Great Film-maker

If the genius in RD created that amazing first scene back-ground score in Teesri Manzil, then the concept on this amazing films and many more with performance and stories goes to Vijay Anand.

Feel sad, that film-makers of his calibre would be no more.

May God bless his soul...young film buffs like me, would forever remember him for Teesri Manzil's comic susupences, Johhny Mera Naam's thrills, and Jewel Thief's Drama, and Guide's musical extravagance

Though a not a successful actor but who can forget his Tehiqiqat detective series..with Saurabh Shukla..
