I have not watched Tom Cruise perform with such excellence as he did in the Last Samurai.The sound effects,rich cinematography and the noteworthy story telling all go together to make the Last Samurai a modern day classic. Leave alone the americans who did not see anything good to make it a box office hit.The rest of the world surely did appreciate the work.I strongly recommend this film to all those who appreciate a good philosophical background mixed with action.
Tom Cruise was amazing in The Last Samurai as he is in most of his films. He is very much a dependable actor whose films we can look forward to, much like our own Aamir Khan these days!
Awards or no Awards, Tom is our Samurai, he is our Top Gun though he may be in the "Minority Report" of the Oscar Jury. I like his films!!!!
