I would say that Nazir's view is very narrow. I admit that Dev Anand's movies have not had appeal recently, but dear Nazir however a bad movie he makes, he makes with immense passion. When at this age all old people sit and give up on life, he believes in working....Rather than criticizing him I would salute to the grandfather of hindi film industry as he is the real fighter and i wish that when i grow old,i have the same fighting spirit.
Dharmendra, who admitted to being out of touch with the film world of late, said, "Whenever I feel down and out, I look at Devsaab and tell myself, "'Dharmendra, utth. Khada ho ja aur Devsaab ke jaisa kaam karna shuru karde [Get up. Start working like Devsaab]." To Dharamji , I say you are better off not doing films without substance. Dev Anand has been directing-producing junk movies in the recent past.
He had a style which no one could copy neither it will look good on anyone but him. He is one of the greatest actors of his time. He had a presence on the screen, the undebatable confidence he showed is peerless. Am a big fan of his!
Ekla chalo re ! when world is not with you even then keep faith in you and your doing and start journey ahead and people will join you . Dev saab is true example of this philosophy. If fortunately any of his movie click on box office then same Industry who does not pay any heed to his shows will make cue for him. His movies may not click but he always click . Untiring energy ! Thy name is Dev Anand.

Alok , Passion and spirit is one thing but to make movies that bomb and that too , not one or two but several is ridiculous. Vajpayee who is also old - if he was ruling with Passion and delivering zilch - would he have an iota of a chance getting reelected as the PM ? NO. Period. So if Dev wants to continue his passion - he should deliver a film with merits. I have been a fan of Dev Anand - the one of the past and if I am saying a few harsh words - I am stating out of fondness - because it pains me to see someone so good wasting his time and ours. If Dev Anand reads this I hope he will take this as a challenge and come up with an award winning film.
