I feel that Jaago is a highly sensitive film and has touched chords with the victims or their families. More such films should be made.I agree that the film could have been stronger in some places but nevertheless,it is an attempt to spread awareness of real issues prevailing in our society.
well i want to say that the movie is defi a worth watch and yes i do believe that the critics at rediff are not qualified or they are just the fan of movies with songs and dance and also these critics dont know how to judge the movie.
even if the director has not made the film upto ur expectations, i think the message thru the film is really imp and while i was watching the movie, i thought about the girl in real what she must have gone thru and also others (on whom film is not made) must have gone thru and those who are alive with their families must be having a tough time.
so please ms/mr critic think not once nor twice but 10 times b4 u write anything for a movie. a critic should not always critisice but also appreciate.
anyways for people please go and watch the movie and try to awaken urself for these kind of subjects.
pretty sad that the review that was supposedly put up to wake up the viewers just coz u didnt like the movie seemed to have backfired right on u eh ???
well honestly my opinion is that we should have more movies like this, and people who think that our society shouldnt be watchin things like this need to educate themselves ... this is definitely a need for every society to realise the way life works out for many people ... though it could have been portrayed with a lil more care on details so that the movie wouldnt be picked on by picky reviewers and could create more emotions among the movie goers .... over the last few years a few movies that really caught my attention would be "Chandini Bar" and "Market" .. if people havnt realised , these are real life incidents my friends , sumthin that could have happened to you guys or your loved ones !!!
Its time ur reviewers learn to review movies with some sense, the way sukanya varma trashes down the movie based on points like, 'only one helper at school' is downright pitiable??
Well....No doubt the plot is sickening, we should also ask why make a movie about other acts of violence and nudity?? But whatever is the subject if there is proper classification for a movie then people can choose if they want to watch the movie or not.. this movie sure should be classified as M (Mature audience) or A (Adult) but in India everyone watches every movie becasue there is no such regulations. Despite being world's highest movie makers there is hardly any entertaining movies made for kids.. That is utterly disappointing.. For God's sake someone please wake up and do something about the classifications...

I think its a good movie. And rediff critics please stop you'r comments on any movie in future. We don't keed your senseless comments on movie. Your guys don't seems to know what movie is all about.

its high time, that with the class, taste & dignity of present generation directors falling to pieces, the duty of the censor board should not just be limited to the adult/non-adult category, but also on story line of the movies of critical nature.
the last thing u want with the screening of such type of movies is, that huge psychics going to see the movie, just to watch the little girl raped. simply unacceptable.
How will sukanya verma like such a movie if it is not been made by Karan Johor.there is no SRK in the movie & no running around the trees. it is sad that such real life movies get so bad reviews from media. the movie is not been made to be loved by everybody but to learn a few lessons but people like you ruin it to the hilt..
