In the bedroom with Manisha - A boquet of love
by Gautam on Feb 05, 2004 11:50 AM  | Hide replies

UNSCRUPULOUS Film makers in connivance with SHAMELESS Actresses are leading the young generation to Hearth. It is a marriage of convinience for the unscrupulous duo to spoil our heritage.
Films can very well do away with the rubbish being shown on screen. And the fact is aptly proven by the old classics which are still better crowd pullers even today!!!!!!
Are you rogues listening???????????????
Gautam

Gautam ... hold on...

it looks erotic ... there is nothin wrong as long as it is not vulgar ... take ManiRatnam his lovemaking scenes are a treat to watch becoz they were high in erotic content than anything. If you feel offended ignore the movie and don't start preaching your moral stuff.

hi, at the same time we should not forget that most of us so called educated and responsible persons of india themselves watch many english movies on tv channels like hbo, starmovies and zmgm , appraise them but ignore the very fact that every second of those movies has a so called bedroom scene starting from french kiss and ending in what we cant even imagine in hindi movies,
i think we shouild not blame the film makers we should blame ourselves as we are the one who watch those movies and pay money for that.
a simpls analogy i can give is that it is not in the roots of our culture to 'drink' but every where in india rum and whisky or home made drinks are sold. it is not the fault of those who sell, it is the fault of so called educated and proffessional, so called responsible citizens who buy those products in exchange of money.

thanks
arvind

Hi Gautam
They are just trying to portray a story which has such scenes. Its high time people started accepting such things as it is present in our society. My guess is you will be the first in line to go and watch this movie.

Its just my view and I may be wrong.
If we term sex and love making in cinema as vulgur then what do you have to say about the Kamasutra and
its teaching. We can't even imagine giving proper
(and much needed) sex educations to the young and
unknown, if we lock our minds this way. Awareness of sex and its safe practices is alarmingly low in a country of one billion. Being a natural phenomenon (and the reason of our existence)
sex is frequently viewed as obscure and indecent act.
Caves at Khajuraho are the standing example of our history where display of act of loving making (even among the Deities) was considered art rather than obscenity. What we think and live in is not the culture our ancestors used to have but a fractured culture which was the result of Mughal invasion.
Fortunately, our women donot wear burkhas, otherwise showing even face by a women would have been viewed obscene.

we( me and my friend) totally disagree what Gautam has commented . We think these kind of films are very much essential for the younger generation so that they will not do like this because of the xperience thay get from the film.
Reg.Manisha... such a wonderful social worker who has sacrificed her life in teaching and exposing good parts.
hope that 99.9999% of the people agree with me........ bye for now.. see u for the next commenting session
