the worst movie till date
by shilpa surve on Jan 02, 2005 11:02 PM

though dil maange more promises a lot it does not deliver nything.Except ayesha takia and shahid kapoor not a single actress has done well.Soha ali and tulip are a major letdown. The film has no structure or story. It is just cramped up with non-sensical comedy which makes you cry and very very sad songs. The ending is pathetic which makes you ask for a refund of the film ticket. Its frustrating.A talented actor like shahid is completely wasted in the movie.God knows why he did it. Aise film aapne dushman ko bhi na dekhana

soha ali khan

though a very young face in the film industry needs to go a long way.

she was looking elder with compared to shahid.
it was really ayesha takia who can match with shahid in the movie.
Tulip joshi role was a added bet with no real potential in the character.

in toto the movie was a Shahid movie and he isa upcoming star...NO DOUBT

Shahid

No, I do not agree with your view that Shahid Kapoor copies SRK. He has no irritating mannerisms like Mr SRK had for many years.
He is the son of Pankaj Kapoor and Neelima Azam, two powerhouse talents, and talent can be seen in his every gesture and look.
He does need to develop the intensity however, that is required to stir a performance- and then he can rise to be an iconic star of India. He's quite incredible, actually.

Review: Dil mange more
by Parvez Mandaviwala on Jan 01, 2005 10:25 PM

Since its the only release this week, its bound 2 do some business; but believe me, that'd be the only reason it actually becomes a hit.
The story builds up till the interval, but then decellerates. The second half doesn't seem to be anything rarely close to a sensible story. The disasterous end deserves special mention; its a total put-off.
Songs are forced into the story. Shahid seems to be frustrated with the situation but is seen singing a happy song. Duh!!!
Watch it only if u dont have anything else to do. I would hardly gift it 2 stars.

Dil Maange No More
by Srinivasan on Jan 01, 2005 06:44 PM

I saw 'Dil Mange More' yesterday with a couple of friends to celebrate New Year. To tell the truth, I wasnt much impressed with the film. I felt the film was good only in bits and pieces and not as a whole. I wasnt even happy with Ms.Soha Ali Khan. I loved Ms. Ayesha Takia though. She looks good and energetic. The songs were too many and not very pleasing to hear either. Shahid was good and his facial expressions and comic timings were also good..(though it was similar to SRK). On the whole, it was just about an ok film.

Bad Movie Review
by Sujan Bhattacharya on Jan 01, 2005 03:08 PM

Dear Rediff,
Is this the way to write a movie review. Ur reporter needs to learn the basic writing skills and needs to be taught elementary english.

A very bad review indeed.

I hope reviews are written by more profession people in the future.

Just happened to see "DEV" yesterday(starring Big B,Fardeen & Kareena)! What an impressive movie! And I hear it flopped! Crap RCs like these get the boost with your reviews misleading people to go spend three random hours on "just another not-so-memorable romantic comedy"..
