this film is way too depressing and is more of an art film standard.
ash is awful, and ajay! he was the wrong choice for the role of an unemployed person from a small town.
this is about a couple who are unhappy and sad, henry's short story is much too prolonged for no gud reason. the direction though was the only +ve in the movie.
my review is if u luv arty stuff watch it orelse its waste of both ur money and time.
RAINCOAT is typical Rituparno's movie.Strong characters, intense chemistry of human relations,beautiful narration and technical perfection makes the film classic.Though somtimes it is slow in pace but that's his style. Probably Ash has given her best performnace till date. Ajoy too is excellent. Finaly the Year ends with such a meaningful movie.
