Aamir's get-up for The Rising is fast becoming a fashion statement with his fans.
Amrish Puri's last film, and his booming voice seems hauntingly overwhelming. He's an evil uncle, a treacherous warmonger exploiting the freedom struggle for pecuniary gain, and his character bushy doorma moustache, the characteristically bizarre name of Bhairon, and one very disconcerting glass eye would be called pure caricature.
Rajkumar, one of the country's most respected moustache stars was kidnapped in 2000 by a notorious bandit sporting a mean handleba moustache.

Warren Lees, Jeremy Coney, Jeff Crowe, Gary Troup, Ewen Chatfield and Glenn Turner all sported the moustache look.
But whereas Hadlee and Coney were among those players to sport the archetypal bushy moustaches of that era, today's cricketers are either clean-shaven or sport a fuzz of all-over stubble, a la actor Russell Crowe. Most girls want his boy friends without moustache, but Anil Kapoor and Jackie Shroff look good with it.
New Zealand's nostalgia-loving army of cricket fans, the Beige Brigade, are bribing their own players to hark back to yesteryear by growing moustaches.
