Seeing SRK in Colombo for me was a once in a life time dream come true. But life is so strange sometims, just in seconds it all turned out to a nightmare from which I might never wake up.
In a country, a combat lasted for almost two decades, I have been through bomb blasts, attacks in Colombo. But that had a reason, it was purely terrorism. But this was different it had no reason. I am still shaken up and will never be able to go for another show. But I am so glad last I saw on stage was Shahruk.
Saturday night's grenade blast at the mega show featuring Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan and a galaxy of Indian show-biz personalities at the Colombo Race Course Grounds which claimed two innocent lives and injured several others was a maniacal act of disgruntled extremists! Sadly, these brutal, conscienceless criminals are present anywhere in the world to hog cheap publicity from their 'derring dos!' Remember the demented act of the Irish Priest at the Olympic Marathon when the Brazilian was leading the race?; the stabbing of Monica Seles by a German man during a tournament in 1993?; and the double suicide bombing at a rock concert in Moscow, killing hundreds of innocent people?. All these despicable acts are doings of a mindless few, who are trying to quench their sadistic impulses at the cost of others.
As such, Bollywood star(s) need not even care two hoots for the incident, except sympathy for the dead and those injured, and carry on with his mega shows! That alone, as Jesus Christ said, will keep a pot of burning coal on the heads of desperados.
Sharukh, what else do you need when entire Sri Lanka stands behind you! Vive la, Sharukh!!!!!
We are very glad and happy u came to Colombo to proform your live Concert and bringing all the way the costume of the movies u acted. It was really great. You have won millions of fans in Sri Lanka and u will be there in minds and heart forever. It is so sad and shame the ugly thing that took place in the concert the perpetrates will have no place in the minds and hearts of the fans in Sri Lanka.
May God give u Good Health and long life as u always to put your best for others to happy.
Sharukh Do not take to heart about people talking that you went there insipte of threat. IT is a always practice that people start saying things only after the event has occurred.
Nobody will keep their stand before an event and of course it is very very easy to jump to conclusions after the event is over.
Innocent people killing that has become a trend in todays society nobody is caring about peoples life. People have started becoming selfish.
After 1 week or so of the bombing everybody forgets the event only peolple to remember are those affected. There are annoucements for help etc etc but always it is in vain. Just today there was a news that a security guard died in the lok shabha assembly attack has not yet got his compensation.
Like that there are lots of cases which are pending. I do not know what profit those elements are getting by killing innocent people. Does it satisfy their want. ONLY GOD CAN ANSWER. I would like to pray to god that there should be something to stop all this things, Why can't pepole understand the need of today.
Here I remeber that song ... "woh subah kabhi to ayyegi...woh subah kabhi to aayegi..."
