arindam chaudhary seems to have, instead of counting his chiken before they hatched, made bread omletts and distributed them amongst the students at iipm. Some people have very strange ideas about themselves, anyways i m not the one to discuss that, but seriously i was praying from day 1 that the movie should get bombed at the box office. and the wish has almost been granted. people will now start believing that movie making is a business, but a business of emotions, expectations, and exhilaration and not that of marketing, finance, personnel. and production. otherwise any tom dick and harry or M B and A will come and start making movies.
Aptly titled is Prof. Arindam Chaudhari's book: 'Count your chickens before they are hatched'. I have come across several reviews about his debut film where he states that they have indeed counted their chickens before they were hatched. He kept tooting his own horn, stating that this was a calculated film based on research; research about what the audience really wanted. A piece of information for the professor: it has been proved time and again that research may not be the best indicator of what consumers want. Case in point is the Ford Car that was produced based on research, that flopped miserably in the market. Maybe the professor should upgrade his management knowledge before pronouncing the success of his film prior to its launch. The fact of the matter is that, irrespective of whether you are in the movie making business, or in the corporate world, everything cannot be calculated. You have to take the plunge, and do everything you can to make it work. Maybe in future, prof arindam choudhari would consider this piece of advice.
the review was excellent.its a disastrous film.probably as disastrous as prof chaudhuris books and his college. Marketing cant rescue a weak product - our self-appointed mgmt guru must have forgotten. Now, give my money spent to watch the movie back. Chaudhuri saab there is also something called customer satisfaction...hope u understand that.

I totally agree. This movie sucks big time. It's a very poorly made copy of classic JJWS. Sunny Doel in Undertaker's guise is a mess too. Total waste of time and money.
Hi... It may be wise on ur part to comment as it seems to be a remake of JJWS. But one has to think, it was Arindam's debut as a director. Again its not easy to get new stories evrytime for making movies. Now it has been a trend in bollywood to lift stories from Hollywood movies. I believe Arindam should be credited for his first venture in Bollywood as a director. One should not jump into conclusions in the first instance. If we see, Saurav Ganguly was also a flop in the beginning of his career & was dropped from Cricket for 3yrs. But he could manage to make a comeback & after that he has never looked behind.
