You guys should stop reviewing
by Sameer on Dec 11, 2004 04:40 AM

Hi

Whats wrong with u guys. Cant u ever say good abt something or are u bribed by others to say ill abt movies and music. I am not going to read any of your reviews anymore. And for the music of Bewafaa it is another feather on Nadeem Shravan's cap. The movie is really melodious and lingering and emotionally pulls you. The orchestrization may not be as superior as VEER-Zaara or Kisna. But that is where Bewafaa Scores simplicity. And for the rediff reviews "LIVE AND LET LIVE". Sukanya Varma go get some life you are such a downer.

Sukanya u even ripped Lata ?
by Syed on Dec 10, 2004 07:16 PM

Tc. Tch. since you had to put forward a pre-written harsh review to put down Bewafaa I dont blame you . You could have ripped 'Kabutar' but I guess you did not even hear Bewafaa and the sole objective was to mar its chances against Kisna ( an excellent Album) .You Bombay based journo's must realise that you have ZERO say in actual performance at the box-office (for movies) or over the sale counters (for albums) .

Come out of your ivory towers , out of your make belief world . There is more to it than just Ramgopal Verma and AR Rahman .

UR box-office as always is Bombay based (the most ludicrous on the whole web) plus your Anti-Sunny tirade contnues with RSTRL .

So 'Lagaan' was based on 'Naya Daur' - pearls of wisdom -LOL

Bewafaa Vs Kisna
by vandana on Dec 10, 2004 04:46 PM

The music of Bewafaa is very good and above any kind of criticism. By commenting negatively on a score which is becoming popular day by day, the writer has taken her foot in her mouth. I guess, she should begin writing feedbacks on children's stories and instrumental albums that keep coming in (or perhaps some of long series of albums being churned by T-series?)

Bewafa songs
by Nazir Patel on Dec 10, 2004 07:17 AM  | Hide replies

Except for the Asha-Shaan's faltu song all other songs are melodious. Far better than Kisna.
And how dare you state that Lata Mangeshkar was
imperfection in Veer Zaara. Your ears need tuned.
No other singer would have raised those notes and that too with emotion in several duets rendered by Lataji. I am glad that you were not picking her to sing and that Yash Chopra stood firm and let her render all those songs of Veer Zaara. Millions of her fans have liked the songs and the sales speak volumes.

What if somebody criticizes latha. She and her sisters are the reason why we did not have any female singers until T Series gulshan kumar had the guts to go against the sisters. We are now able to compare and say if they are good or jarring because we have so many singers now. We did not have anyone to compare them to and hence they became the great singers. I still feel sad thinking that we might have missed hearing to some voice because of the sisters.

Sukanya knows Kisna has no chance in front of Bewafa commercially
by rafat on Dec 09, 2004 10:55 PM

She belongs to the "Pseudo-Intellectual" hypocrites category , who cannot come to terms with the fact that Albums like 'Tere Naam' & 'Raaz' ripped by critics are the biggest hits comercially , so she had to put down Beawfa , before she promoted Kisna , the true hypocrite she is .

I just wish she had the guts to appreciate both Bewafa & Kisna and than said that Kisna is better .

Once again characters like her have no say as far as respect in bollywood journalism-reviews is concerned .
