FIRST VIEW & POST REVIEW
by anand on Sep 03, 2004 12:01 PM

There are no fight sequences in Vasool Raja MBBS and the Review posted by Shoba Varier clearly says that she liked the fight sequences and had appreciated Kamal for that. I doubt whether she had really seen the film?

If not its a shame on REDIFF to allow such Reviews and defaming an excellent actor to the core.

Nobody seems to praise the worlds greatest artist in film industry.

Kamal can dance,sing,fight,direct,.....

Yet people seems to find faults with his and his teams sincere efforts.

In my opinion the Crazy mohan genius with kamal genius has been less appreciated again in this instance also.

Popole will realise only after the demise of the above greats for sure.

Kamal was a great actor, was a genius...he has lost all that in the past three movies that he has made. I was the biggest fan of Kamal myself...but lately I have found him more and more dissappointing. There was a time when Hindi actors used to copy Kamal's movies, why is Kamal now stooping to copying Hindi movies and doing roles that he does not fit into. Sneha looks like his daughter not his lover. The movie just falls flat...the wonderful comic timing between Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi is sorely missing between Kamal and Prabhu. The inate humor of the dialouges in Hindi are totally void in Tamil.

This was not a movie to be remade..but to be enjoyed in the original. By remaking it and doing that also in such a sloppy manner, Kamal has once again proved that he has completely lost touch with his audience.

by appadi_podu on Sep 02, 2004 12:46 AM

hi friends,

Kamal is VassolRaja was not upto the mark as SunjayDutt in Munnabhai ......

but does that mean Kamal is inferior to Sanjay ????
pls ..stop this crap .....

as far as acting is concerned ,Kamal is a college , whereas SD can figure in as a Lecturer there .

Who can beat Gracy's charm in Munnabhai MBBS ? I dare say Preethi is no match for her.

Wrong team
by Prakash on Aug 31, 2004 11:24 AM  | Hide replies

Too many chefs spoil the broth. That's what has happened. The script of Munnabhai was fit for a team comprising of Surya (or Vikram - oh! he is all over), Vivek (or Karunas) & Sneha on the screen, K.S.Ravikumar as director and Deva's music. Sneha's father should have been Girish Karnad (surpising but will be suitable) or Superstar Rajni (remember Nettrikkan?)

The producer was probably too carried away with the success of Munnabhai and also had Kamal's dates, which he confused and made a bad movie out of a good team.

i just cant understand wat made you think that rajini kanth wud have fit the role... if you were joking you sure do have a very good sense of humour. wonder what rajini kanth would have showed in the ragging scene (preferebly biceps).
