This film will surely rock the B.O not only national but also international.Yashji's films are always a pleasure to watch. The songs from this movie are also excellent. The whole of film lovers are eagerly awaiting it's release. The star cast is dynamic, mainly the great SRK.
Hopefully, Yashji will come soon with another movie after this.

Sick of Romantic Movies...
by Mayur Kirtani on Aug 27, 2004 10:13 PM  | Hide replies

Seriously, Indian audience is sick of mushy-mushy romantic stories. They all have the same HAPPY ending, or unbeliveable fight sequence or ridiculous story lines or lame artists who lack creativity. Shahrukh khan has played a lover ALL his life. in DTPH, K3G, DDLJ, MHN, you name it, he has played a lover in that movie. Priety's smile is infectious yet not appealing anymore. She has the same persona in EVERY movie.

I think the movie will flop. It does not matter whether its YASH Chopra. If movies directed by Steven Speilberg can fail, Yash Chopra is no exception.

Karan Khan

well, shahrukh khan has been playing the same role his entire career, either he is love or sacrificing his love for someone else. he is a type cast. a true actor plays different types of characters on the screen, characters that are believable. until he does that, he will not be a great actor. and the sad part is that he is the best in bollywood scene, especially compared to the "good" actors.

Dont pass baseless comments on shahrukh.. THe skill of an actor lies in how he is making the audience laugh as well as how he is able to make tears come out of the audience's eyes and if see his films ..and accept his talence and keep ur mouth shut

hey...chill out dude...Y do u wanna tase the dish before eating it..not too far for the release any way..and not to metion the heroics of SRK. He has proved to be a versatile actor from the years...n one thing I could not understand is the point you have shun the light on...name a hero who has not been into Love shots in any movie...How do you think can two leads..the heroine and the hero can be related..if you dont wanna see them falling for each other! Would you accept the hero and the heroine be brother and sister??? you can be a good critic..not with the SRK mate....

Your point is baseless.Every Indian hero has been a lover in his movie...from Dev Anand to Shahid Kapur. So SRK is no exception.
And why should we care so much for an American director(Spielberg).Stop comparing yourself with anybody else and have your own identity. Why does America have so much focus in Indian media when they(the western world) care a damn about us..

Same old SCRAP story from Yash-ji !!
by Simi on Aug 27, 2004 07:38 PM

Yash Ji I have gone through the jist of the story from various web-sites, and I found that Veer-Zaara is DDLJ revitised, only difference is that Veer and Zaara are going to be sepereated at the end. When can we expect new ideas from a great director like you?
I would be very obliged if u answer.
