One characteristic of Vikram that's missed out in this story; that he is the same person, in spite of his successes. He remains simple, kind hearted, freindly, and noble; just as he was during his struggling years. I think that one quality, apart from his raw talent, has taken him places.
Vikram you deserve this award. I am not a Tamilian and I don't understand Tamil even a bit but I watch all and only your movies from Tamil. Your acting is superb and to understand it language is no boundary. Undoubtably you are the one of the best actors in India today. Keep up the good job. Wish you all the good luck in your futur projects. Waiting to see another movie from hit combination of yours and Bala's. U R THE MAN.
Hope by this time you would have understood the secrets of success. I will never think that you have wasted 10 years. Those 10 years only has given you exposure to World / People & Definition of Success. No wonder..you really deserve the national award. I know many and many more awards are still waiting for you. Go ahead with your ambitious journey and dont get carried away by people praising. It will be there only till you are a super hero. At this point of time i would like to say one thing as your fan. You have created a very big expectation and it will be great even if you maintain it. The expectation that you have created is the enemy for you. But i am sure and confident that you will maintain it with your talent and hard work. I dont have any second thought on that. Also i like your strategy like attracting students, kids, ladies & atlast everyone. You should really thank God for given you lot of learnings before you got established.

Vikram is one of the most down-to-earth and humorous people. I've met him a couple of times in the mid 90's in Madras and he seemed to maintain his composure despite being famous. He is a great example of how hard work and determination can make one successful in life. India needs more people like him. All the best.
