Creating an image by posing together and by appearing in tabloids doesn't make much of a difference to the audience who don't spend money to see Ash-Vivek romance or friendship on-screen. This pair looks out of place on screen. Private life is only your business Mr VO.
I feel sorry for Boney Kapoor. Once again he has made a big banner film and big actors, and failed miserably because of something that is not a fault of his. Kyon Ho Gaya Na is plain BORING. The songs are typical run-of-the-mill hindi songs, the type we've become sick and tired of. Unconvincing performances from the actors (Vivek overacts,Amitabh Bacchan is wasted in a silly role, Ash has nothing to do) leads to the failure of the movie. If you want to do romantic films, why don't you try some fresh story and why use concepts that are 100 yrs old?
As partially said Kyon Ho Gaya Na is a badly made movie where the directors craft is clearly missing throughout, which is terrible for the audience. I am now convinced that Farhan Akhtar is the best Director in the new lot. No one is 10% of him. Whatever people say I clearly think the movie is a CRAP, Vivek has to master the art of acting right from scratch, and take lesson from SRK and Hrithik. His pairing with Ash looks like brother-sister duo. According to me the name of the movie should be Kyon FLOP Ho Gaya Na!
Kyon Ho Gaya Na is the flop of the year. I watched it on Saturday at Liberty (Mumbai). The response from the audience after seeing the movie was horrible. Some of the phrases that were used by the audience are: 1 Bakwas; Waste of money 2 Nothing new in it 3 Fully Faltoo 4 Koi dum nahi/Koi Jadoo nahi 5 Very very boring 6 Terrible/Shocking 7 Ek hafte ka film. Thus u may realise how bad the film was. Total BAKWAAS.
