I have been attending the parade in New York City since Aug 2000. I was shocked to see this sentence: "Last year, a host of celebrities like Sonali Bendre and Kapil Dev were led by Bollywood badshah Shah Rukh Khan."
They used this same line to lure hundreds more to last years parade and just seconds before the parade started it was announced that none of them were coming!! And after one year to say unabashedly that they DID come, shows the arrogance and deceitfulness of the organisers and the lack of integrity by the reporter.
Both parties owe apologies to the public for the misleading news and downright cheating.
PS: I have the full video recording of last years events including the announcement on stage to prove that the "BADshah" and others didn't turn up.

Yeah! His name is spelt as RAHMAN. His full name goes-Allah Rakha Rahman i.e.A.R.Rahman as we better know him.
