This review reveals how we Indians tend to suck up to Hollywood movies, regardless of their crappy, sometimes downright boring content. Collateral is definitely one such film. I don't see what the reviewer saw in it (save for the 2 lead actors) that is worthy of so much praise. If some of you out there still wanna watch it..you should be warned..when you see the credits rolling out you'll most probably be wondering 'what the hell was that'.
Respected Sir, I convey my greatest regards to you for introducing to the world actors like Mark Ruffalo (Yes, it takes a lot of time to identify him), Jamie Foxx, Tom Cruise, Jada P Smith and others. It was a great pleasure in getting to know that all those people have acted in a movie directed by Michael Mann. It is true, sir, you find it hard to find more adjectives to paint a lifesize sketch of the actors. Please go to www.merriam-webster.com, and choose the thesaurus, Sir. You can find a hell lot of objectives, I'm sorry - adjectives. Thank You Saar, Yours faithfully, Oh you know me!
Saw it yesterday & absolutely loved it. Never had any doubts about Michael Mann's abilities, but I must say I have newfound respect for Tom Cruise as an actor!
Jamie Foxx nails his part as the hapless cab driver. I will, though, hold my applause until I see Jamie's performance in "Ray", later this year.
But...what a performance by Tom Cruise! It's a refreshing break from his goody-two-shoes image & it's BEAUTIFUL! The show I went to, mostly had old ladies in the audience & made me wonder if I was in the right theater, but when I saw people laughing & applauding when Tom dropped some F-words, I realized, "People will love him in whatever he does", even with wrinkles & grey hair! And he puts that star power to full use & lets go perfectly.
Watch out for a shootout in an alleyway between Tom & a couple of thugs stealing his briefcase. I was amused by Cruise's hair & his use of profanity, and was grinning widely, until that scene. If there was any doubt that he was Vincent, the ruthless killer, it was gone, after that scene.
Watch for cameos by Jason Statham, Javier Bardem, Peter Berg, & Mark Ruffalo in full Latino makeup!
I would like to say that , it is difficult read the news with so much ad put in the corner. Some ads are slightly objectionable, and thus are very difficult to read in the office . What you can do is to place the ads either at the top or the bottom so that it looks slightly better
