Hollywood is not the place of wooden statues. So Ash has no chance in Hollywood. Only 1 Indian star is up to Hollywood standards, he is HRITHIK ROSHAN!
I have been following this whole episode for a while now. In all honesty I don't see Ash making a career in US. No indian actor can do it for that matter. Firstly I don't like Ash's opinion on Hollywood. If she is not willing to Kiss or stuff like that then its useless. I mean in most western society Kissing is an accepted form of showing affection. Now she claims she won't do kissing scenes or sex scenes. Well in all honesty she is an average actress and seriously speaking Hollywood does not need an Ash, believe me they have plenty.
Aishwarya Rai has been desperately trying to get atleast into some 3rd rate Hollywood movie for over 3 years now starting at the Cannes festival in 2001. Her clothes have been getting scantier at the Cannes with every passing year and I wish the media does not cover the 2015 Cannes festival (for obvious reasons)
If Aish continues with her overacting then she will be kicked out before she knows it. Noticed how detached she looks in romantic scenes (barring the ones with Salman) from her co-star, she just concentrates on facing the camera in the best manner. In comedies, she shrieks and jumps around, trying desperately to look like a carefree, giggling teenager. In dramas, her eyebrows move more often than the pendulum. Gist: she doesn't know how to act. Do you really think she will succeed in Hollywood where emotions are much more keyed down? Even her looks won't help coz she has grown so old. Now she should play her age. Aish fans, don't get me wrong, I really used to like her as a model, but acting is different. She should forget that her face could launch a thousand ships IN THE PAST. Her looks have wilted, so now she should improve on her acting skills and stop stiking poses. She has delivered only one good hit: "Hum dil...". Stop being plastic Aish. You are no longer perfect. You can't even dance which requires total abandon... even then you concentrate on the best way you could face the camera. Today, 99% of her yesteryear fans are crazy about Preity coz she is natural & acts better.
Thats b-coz Indian Producers and Directors (barring a few like Aamir Khan and Shekhar Kapur ofcourse) really lack "creativity" in the real sense. Another factor is that most of Indian films produced now-a-days are lower circle/ middle circle class entertainers. None of the films are really "brain-storming". Last but not the least, most of the Indian producers want to target only the BOX office first and not the HEARTS and MINDS of the public, who in turn expect only cheap entertainment. Can you imagine lower circle class daring to spend more money out of his pocket to watch "brain-stormers"? What all the poor chap needs is just a 2 hour entertainment to forget all his day-long woes....
It is high time we dumped her. In my opinion her beauty lives more by propaganda than by truth. As a matter of fact most of the bollywood beauties or even hollywood beauties are thought of as beauties more because of propaganda. And what is most horrible is their attitudes adding a minus to even the propagandaed beauty. Kindly look to real life real women. ---RajeswaraRao
One of the worst actresses, though drop dead gorgeous, of recent times, Aishwarya Rai cannot even act in Hindi Films. Forget about Hollywood. She doesn't stand a chance. She shouldn't get a chance in Hollywood just because of her looks.
