A ballistic review.

Looks the Karthik is a insecure Ilayaraja fan who lost hopes after Raja's last attempt to gain National recognition by Hey ram went unnoticed.

He Feels proud of a unreleased work, but forgets one important thing that great man Ilayaraja is now depending on public funds to complete his thiruvasakam project, nobody is willing to touch it.
A poor raja sympathiser who has fumed his fury in this article.

let down by ARR
by paramasivan kunjamboo on Apr 28, 2004 09:53 AM

To the writer, you are the executive producer of IR's symphony thus was there a little bit tinge of negative feelings in ARR coming to stage as an composer? ARR himself said and apologised there was little time for preparation and not much coordination between him and the orcherstra, due to much time constraine. He was under much pressure to do that presentation by the organisers because of his "Bombay Dreams" fame to a crowd who was much interested only in he performing his film hits. Thus Sir, I think you should have taken all this in consideration before you belittle your own kind!! You said you are so proud that an Indian is coming to perform but never understood the sequences of events which led ARR to conduct the BPO.

big letdown by AR Rahman
by srini on Apr 25, 2004 07:04 PM

i thought rahman was a keralite. If my knowledge is right he is the son of the late music director chandrashekar of the malayalam cinema industry. So i am sure he is not tamil. but defenitely indian !!

Rehman -A Class Apart
by iram on Apr 25, 2004 11:08 AM

Rehman as a composer is a class apart...his honest confession " I messed it up" in itself shows his sincerety to take the responsibility....no body else does this except defending himself..

and let us not repeat the story of crabs said for indians who don't need the lid cause they keep on pulling each other whoever tries to rise...so it's better not to criticise

Each composion, each number of Rehman is a piece of expertise...even if he goes unprepared anywhere yessss anywhere audience who have the ear will appreciate him like anything...and if there were mistakes organisors shout have told him the ins and outs of the place in fact even gandhiji didn't know that the finger bowl was used to wash hands not to be drunk at a party which he did..

so why defame the capability of somebody who is an institution in itself ..it's quite unfortunate if an Indian does that

The writer clearly belongs to the Ilayaraaja camp and is jealous of Rahman's success.

ELEPHANTS DO SLIP
by sivakumar nachimuthu on Apr 24, 2004 04:38 PM

A.R.RAHMAN is a well known musician in india and perhaps, in london too. he has entertained the music lovers with a lot of hit songs which were described as "slow poison". he is one of a few people who have enabled us to hold our heads high on many occasions; is one of the rare personlities we produced; is as big like an elephant in his field; but elephants do slip. let us forget his mistake and give ourselves another chance to hold the head high..
