I am not a kind of person who watches violence films, however, one of my friend draged me to watch Kill Bill Vol 1. After watching the movie, i absolutely liked the movie as its fantastic and totally different from the mediocre films. The background scores, the flashbacks and even the actions scenes are totally fabulous... I cant wait to watch part II...I want to see Bill, whom Quentine has missed totally in Part I...
My perception abt Tarantino movies was always low and will always be low. He knows only the chapter wise way of movie making and which to my knowledge is not his own. If depicting gore will win acclaims, then i should be able to do very well in the world movie stage.
About Tarantino being the self proclaimed God... get a life man. I saw Pulp Fiction during the week end. Somebody tell me whats the story line is all about. Its an average movie with some slick action with some masochism thrown in as prop. And i don;t have any idea why people rave abt it so much,
Tarantino is the by product of brilliant american marketing strategy. he has been marketed well and he is a PR offspring. His is a classic case of "Emperor's new clothes". No one has the guts to tell the emperor that he is naked.
To end it all lemme tell you what i think abt Tarantino movies. And now you'll be wondering who am i to comment abt Tarantino movies. I'm just a normal person. Normal cinema going public. And Tarantino, YOUR MOVIES ARE ALL VERY AVERAGE. And in that way, your are God of all average things.
These hollywood guys think they are the best and keep coming up with sequels of sequels. I wish Indian critics could to publish their comments in foreign magazines/websites; so that the they could know what they actually make in the name of slick and grand movies.
