Soundarya is immortal
by Sanjay V Raj on Apr 19, 2004 02:45 PM

I think that she has ninched her name and face in everybodys heart. This is shock for everybody, especially to her family who have lost the beloved children . No words can bring the parents to their self, except that god alone should give them the strength .
May their sole's rest in peace.

I agree with this statement.

We are now-a-days observing that most of the upcomming or retired film personals are entering politics, be it contesting with party tickets or campaigning. I personally take a strong objection for this. Now my classic example is our Dr.Rajkumar, if he had stepped into politics, he would have been the chief minister of karnataka. He a determined man kept away himself from contesting nor canvassing. He is not an ordinary man, I categorize him as best of best and if he has taken such a decision, why not others follow his ideologies. I think Dr.Raj never wanted to risk himself with dirty politics. Public service can be done even without involving into politics. I also feel that Election Commission has to regulate some norms regarding basic qualifications and credentials to come into politics. I dont want to see most beautiful actresses charring to death because of political canvassing.

filmstars joining politics
by Sridhar on Apr 19, 2004 10:43 AM

Film stars have made indian elections the biggest tamasha on the planet by joining them on a massive scale. The biggest inducement for them is to evade income tax on mega scale. Aren't the politicians the biggest evaders of income tax in India?

Politics
by Narayanan TM on Apr 19, 2004 09:01 AM

According to me no Film Stars join politics. By joining politics they lose their identity and popularity. Film stars should remain only in the Film world where they can earn good name and many national and international awards where as plolitics will earn only bad names.

Film stars in politics
by M.M.RAFEEQ on Apr 19, 2004 08:13 AM

Absolutely filmstars shjould not join in politics. All of them are trying to encash their face values. This shows their stupidity & selfishness. No body don't know about politics in film industry. People loves & respects them because of entertainment power. But they wants to cheat the people.

Soundarya's Sudden Demise
by Shailesh Kumar on Apr 19, 2004 12:54 AM

I come to know about soundarya only few months ago when I came to Bangalore. I was not a fan of her but her down to earth attitude and values made me think high about her. When I saw Sooryavansham I felt that this lady is true great as anybody who has watched the movie can feel that she at times outclassed evn Mr. Bacchan in it.The face lingered in my memory since then until I come to know about her in Bangalore. May her soul rest in peace.

worst happening
by P.V.Niharika on Apr 19, 2004 12:01 AM

Filmstars must realize its high time for them to open eyes. What do they get doing all this for political leaders, they loose their own respect and dignity. Its all so cheap and one must pity our country with such leaders. Those leaders who have never tried to care abt the poor hungry people on road come and sit beside cobblers etc and request them to vote for their party giving unfaithful promises.Where do these people go after the elections.
why do filmstars publicise for the politicians. What do they get out of it.Had Soundarya not been going she would have been one amongst us.Well she still remains in million hearts.May god bless her soul.
"NOTHING IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN ONES OWN LIFE".
May her soul rest in peace

Unwarranted use of force on celebrities by BJP
by Thirumavalavan on Apr 18, 2004 09:23 PM

Unfortunately , political parties, more so mainly BJP, appears to force celebrities especially filmstars for political campainging , that too only before the elections. It appears that BJP, as a ruling party in the centre , forcing the stars to campain for its candidates. The same is very clear, when SOUTHERN SUPERSTAR RAJANIKAANTH , also said that his vote is for BJP in a press conference , solely because Shri Advani has met him and canvassed his support and he has assured that he will link the northern rivers with southindian rivers to solve the water problem of tamilnadu.

Filmstars should be kept away from politics as each one is having a duty to do in their own sucessful field.
