why do reviewers tend to tell the story of the movie
by Sumit on Sep 04, 2004 07:20 PM

I don't understand why reviewers tend to tell the story of the movie, when they should just be telling about the quality of direction and general facts about the movie .

if you read this line "In the end of the movie Uma Thurman discovers that her child his alive".

What the **** is this all about. If the director has put some thought into putting this sequence at the end of the movie, it must have some suspense ans shock effect in the movies. If the reviewer is genuinely suprise about the fact, then he should keep it to himself and not kill the suspense of the movie-goers. And to think that this is a professional review??????

KillBill 1 and 2 are Brilliant

Quentin Taranatino's movies are so much fun and yet stand out from the standard hollywood farewhich are formulaic to say the least. His movies however can be watched for many times and you still find them enjoyable mostly because they have several layers and are waiting to be found out.KillBill's both volumes stand out cinematically as a glorious tribute to grindhouse cinema.
And the complaint that Kill Bill 2 was less action packed is actually quite pointless. Unpredictability is one of QT's trademarks. Moreover he shows at the start of the second movie that 'revenge is a forest, you may soon loose your way and forget where you started from'. And that's exactly what he delivers. You expect a cimatic duel between Bill and the Bride but what you get is a conversation which is shocking and entertaining at the same time.
