I wonder how the reviewer is all praises for the movie !!The movie is confusing to the core.Tabu has tried to perform well but alas!!!what could she have done to the script. She portrays a ghostly image throughout the stretch of the movie...appearing and disappearing in different forms and nearly haunting the 'NAWAB'!There is also no clue as to why and how the lady stays at the Nawabs Haweli and where she hails from. Why does she continuously pester him to write a story on her.Its not even that she wants to convey something about her life to the world through his novel. She nearly chokes and kills the nawab in the end by her constant pestering. Overall....a complete bundle of confusion and unexplained and scattered pieces of vague thoughts.Artistic expressions like the cyclists cycling around tabu with constant cycle bells etc etc could have had some link somewhere.Or is it only for the Hussains to understand? I guess the movie is not even for the serious niche of the society because it has no story,no message,no head or tail.
Only thing that is great is Kunal kapoor's acting and stunning looks. Keep the good work on Kunal!!!Cheers!!!
Very neatly has the director rolled out in to a film a fantasy which time and again shows streaks of the undeniable facts of life. Who says we all go to the movies to see real stuff.
The breathtaking cinematography reveals a new freshness and leaves the eyes wanting more colour in every frame of life. Kudos to Santosh Sivan who has made all those painting come real with the most colorful pallete.
Tabu, sublime as ever. Kunnal, crisp and fresh with every sherwani stride. Raghuveer Yadav, spontaneous and how!
The A.R. Rehman score adds to the beauty, emotion and visual captivity of the film.
Congratulations Hussain Sahab and Owais! Fantasy couldnt get better.
