There is no gainsaying the fact that Dev Saab is a legend. Even at 80 he thinks like a twenty. His dressing,flamboyance,style set him apart. He sets a trend rather than follow the crowd.Nicknamed the Gregory Peck of India he has been a family favourite for us.
He carried an air about himself which is hard to emulate. He was quiet graceful the pre Jewel Thief days. There after there was an element of awkwardness in his on screen image ( Age had taken its toll).
Notwithstanding the awkwardness he is identified as a man with guts. He is a man of steel.A string of failures doesnt cow him down.He still experiments.
We fondly hope Dev Anand scores his century. Wishing him a happy,healthy and prosperous life.
I am sure Devji must be planning a big birthday bash. He must for sure be dressed for the occassion. A Cigar,Golf Cap, Scarf,designer shirts,denim suits.
Main aapkaa hameshaa say fan rahaa hooon. AAPkee energy, appkaa enthusiasm, spirit, smile and the purposeful look in your eyes has always inspired me.

A very Happy Birthday to Dev Saab. Despite the sub-standard fare he's been chruning out in the last 20 years no one can take away the appeal of his earlier era. The Dev Anand of the black and white era is timeless.
Dev Anand and Navketan's contribution to Indian Cinema is tremendous. Apart from landmark films, Navketan has been the breeding ground for legendary talents like Guru Dutt (who got his break with Navketan) to Balraj Sahni, Chetan Anand, Vijay Anand, Raj Khosla and the greatest of them all Dada Burman (SD Burman).
Dev is Dev .. one of the Legends of Indian Cinema .. the only actor who could compete with actors like Rajkapoor and Dileepkumar and out-class them! I wish him a happy birthday and may God bless him with many more.
