Well..some models have the potential, provided that dey have da correct training...I niticed that most people used Ash as an example. Well it is tru dat she is is really successful, but can she act?..Nope She can never get da right expressions.. And she only depends on da flutterrin of her eyes to amaze da audience..But real talent doesn't always really matter...Most pplz..especially south asian ppl only care abt da looks (if dey r fair - use fair and lovely - have beautiful hair, and thin as a stick)...if someone has dat - success is guaranteed for them!
Modelling and acting are entirely in the opposite direction. If one is a good model, it dosen't necessarily mean that he is a good actor. Acting is just not about looks. It's much more than that..........
In the list that you mention none and I mean none can act - their performances are mechanical and rehearsed. If there was a model who could act it was Juhi Chawla - who was a complete natural in all her movies. Of the newer lot Ash tries too hard. Bipasha bares flesh. Yes Sushmita Sen is a good actress but has never got her due.
hehe ofcourse not! Name me ONE good actress who is a model! You name any..Bipasha - hot, Katrina - hot, Madhu Sapre - hot and all others - too ready to do anything on screen so yeah they too probably - hot. But HOT - thats where they stop...can never cross that limit..atleast not for now! May be they need to do little bit of acting excercise togather with their onscreen smooching excersices!!!!
Yes models can act, especially the ones belonging to the fairer sex. Juhi was a fabulous actress.
Among the recent crop, Sushmita is probably the best of the lot. She is like fire on screen, when she in on screen you do not look at anyone else. She has proved her mettle with Filhaal in front of a seasoned actress like Tabu.
Aishwarya is decent, and so is Bipasha. It it probably too early to talk about Lara and Priyanka, but even they were not that bad in their first movie.
very few models are good, and they can act. I think out of the lot sushmita has been excellent, she is very natural, and in filhaal she was awesome. also lara dutta is good, and so is priyanka. in male models, john abraham is pretty good.
