I just read some views of some guys who said that Subhash Ghai is an over-hyped personality and directors of today's genre are much better than him.So,guys just answer this question that how many blockbuster hits does they have under their banner and how many of them went on to become nation-wide money-spinner.Subhash Ghai is demi-god of Bollywood,no one can match his direction skills and the wayr he represents it in his films.If you think sitting quietly with some face expressions is acting.I think you dont know what movies are all about.Movies means some larger than life and that's what Subhash Ghai believes in.He is directing films since 1970s when we were not even born.At that point of time mainstream cinema was an entertainment industry not a damn business like today where awards are bought and sold.People like to watch his movies because of his huge star cast,crowd-pulling music and of-course Subhash Ghai's stamped background score.He gave us Vishwanath,Kalicharan,Gautam Govinda,Karz,Hero,Vidhaata,Karma,Meri Jung,Ram Lakhan,Saudagar,Prem Deewane,Khalnayak,Pardes,Taal.Now,count how many hits he gave you.The thing is that you people dont deserve a director like him.
Mr.Subash Ghai we do not expect anything from you, except blatant advertising. Remember Yaadein? Now, I am very sceptical watching your movies. You were never a great director, but a self hyped one. Ramgopal Verma, Yash Chopra, Sanjay Leela are much better than you.

This is so ridiculous!. Why does Ghai have such wrong impressions about himself? I mean a Ram lakhan / khalnayak /Pardes or a Taal cannot be a classic!! Just BS. Just pure bollywood masala films that's all. I thought India has far better directors than ghai please..excuse me. A shekar kapoor, mani rathnam / even sanjay leela bansali are far far better than this guy. thanks.

I agree with rahul, ghai's movies are just BS with much hyped stars and pompous music which does not make any sense. We all know what happened to the much hyped yaadien!!! Ghai is a loser!
