Shankar made it in a right way only, He has the scope to give a excellent movie. Always he is best. When we compare the films: "Thulluvatho Illamai" and "Boys" Boys is not that much of vulgar.
It is not only BOYS. Movies for the past two years coming with all idiotic. Right from songs to scenes it is like that only. But the trend has changed we cant help it. But only consolation the youngsters are rejecting it by calling vulgar. Those days are over the Bharathi raaja-Illayaraja,Maniratnam-Illayaraja,Balachander-Illayaraja combination. But Kamalhasan,Vijaykanth are giving good movies. There is no point in discussing. It is curse of movies. Still our people are not coming out of love stories, when foriegn films crossed that stage and coming out with new ideas. A loves B But B loves C. C has got attracted to D. I dont know when it will stop. These directors are showing as if only Love and romance is there to show.God bless Cine goers
u cant call boys vulgar coz there have been so many films like this in the past which have grabbed as much attention as this has. we had a film called thulluvatho ilamai in the past and double meaning dialogues are not something new. I think the film should have been given an 'A certificate'-thats all. the fact that its shankar's (and not some nondescript director as in the case of similar films)film may be the reason for the outcry or whatever. Boys was enjoyable.
The review is very Correct. As a Teenager i can surely say that this is not the way the present day youth live.Shankar has shown something which is unacceptable by all standards for the present day youth.Shame!!!Such a movie has come from such a famed director like Shankar.May be overconfident of giving too many hits!!!!!I had such a torrid time watching this with two girls.A film in bad taste!!!!
