I can definitely say that this is one of the first truly romantic Comedies from the Indian Cinema ( Since I HATE the word Bollywood, I would rather use Indian Cinema).
It is soo much like Notting Hill or say Father of the Bride, where you laugh with and at the characters.
The main character of the Film, Meera seems to be all set to become the Julia Roberts of India, not the traditional beauty but some one you just adore.
Well I feel bad for not having been able to contribute to the revenue of this movie, since I live in Washington D.C suburbs and I rented this movie from an Indian Grocery store. I wish I had, because only if such movies make revenue, will such movies be made. I plan to buy the music DVD though( not burn MP3s from the internet), my 2 cents to the revenue pool
plz dont go to see some great acting i don't undrestand why milind doesen't look convincing even in the role of a model.forget about the fate of the muvies in metros even in small towns nine out of ten vikram varma would scan google for rules to get attention of that one radha rather than the other way round.so plz parvati ji start woking on 'vikram ka superhit formula'.and plz don't let his uncle auntie or dad help him in his noble venture.let him ask for help from we the regular netizians rules unlimited guaranteed..
If you are totally jobless and feeling rich , this is a movie you wanna watch , milind soman as usual is a treat to watch , radha was pretty good i thought ( though she cant cry well for a million bucks) , tanuja was pretty witty too, even if she kinda got onto your nerves at times...
First of all this is an entertainer, and a nice blend of dreams and practicality. These things could happen in your life. At least few of the rules could be very useful.
If ur having a very dry relationship with your loved ones I suggest u go and see this movie. I took all my 3 gfs for the same (i.e I saw the movie thrice). Hey director you shld payback my ticket fair at least or make good movies like this next time.
rules has turned out to be a super good movie. thanks to the director for giving such a lovely movie. Milind acting is good . abt meera vasudevan,..... she's amazing...she's given a superb performance for this movie... & looks very cute tooo. hats off for the whole team.
hey it's a must see movie. gud performances by milind soman n also by new comer. tanuja is excellent n so is the rest all star cast. a refreshing movie n a love story treated in a different way.the review given by rediff was very nice.
I was told that this movie could seem like a documentary. I then read about the review from rediff. And I must say a big thanks for making me watch the movie. Its superbly crafted with such natural portrayals that you can't help connect with the actors/esses instantly. All of them actually. Brilliant job, all of you. An real candid review, rediff.
I share the sames views as reviwer. This is really a good movie to watch. Everybody should watch this movie. Milidn Soman and new girl has really delievered some fine performance.
