Mohanlal is one of the greatest actors in World cinema. He is one of the very few actors who knows the idea of "distanciation and becoming" in acting, just like the back of his hand. He is very natural and original unlike the dramatic actors like Kamal Hasan or Mammootty. Our cinema has not explored and exploited even half of Mohanlal's talents. THat is why one famous critic remarked about Mohanlal at the Cannes Festival: "You are an excellent actor born at the wrong part of the world".

What u written is ok that Mohanlal is a great actor, i too abide to it, but noone should say that he born in the wrong part of the world, because Keralam it's god's own country...
Mohanlal is one of the greatest actors of Indian Cinema. It is sad that such a great actor does not get to be seen by the majority of Indian movie watching public. sub standard actors get more mileage as they are in Hindi films.
I am an ardent fan of Mohanlal. His down-to-earth approach to acting and simplicity has endeared him to the hearts and soul of his fans. He is an eminently likeable person and I hope he continues to entertain movie goers for a long time to come.
