It is one of the most important moment in the history of Malayalam, (why just that!!) Indian Cenema. One of the greatest actors of the era has completed 25 years of acting and it is a time for celebration for him and all his fans. The man who has always been compared with hollywood actors like Robert De Niro, has shown us so much through his expressions and actions, making us cry, laugh, dance, think. He has us glued to the screens when he is present on it. I remeber my Gandmother of 80 years taking a seat in front of the TV half an hour before a Mohanlal film starts!! He acted for all, from the crying babies to the senior citizens! He made all of them share the emotions of his screen characters. I don't think any other actor in India has achieved such a position.
He is known for his versatility, "an actor for all seasons", having been done all one could do in the acting profession. Started as a villain, turned into a hero and became a Super-Mega Star as he was known for years. Such a range no other has been gifted with, he has done the best of comedies, anti-hero roles, danced and played around.
It is very difficult to select one or few of his films as the best. They all!!
