I do not agree on statement that Taal music is not better that Pardes and Yaaden. I pity the writer for his low ears and lack of understanding of music.
Basically ARR is music director class apart from others and at the least Nadeem Shravan and Annu Malik do not make to his league.
I wish the song Do dil Mil Rahe Hai should have been sung by some other singer. Kumar Shanu has spoiled a really good song. Generally Kumar spoils most of his songs by vibrating voice at the end of any line in a song (voice shrill). That may be a reason good music directors like ARR have never used him in any song and will never use as well.
this is getting ridiculous. time and again, writers on rediff.com come up with wrong information. When you write a report on a film, atleast objective information like name(s) of the music directors should be accurate.
This movie had music by Nadeem Shravan, not Anu Malik. This was the first time that Ghai broke his team of Laxmikant-Pyarelal (music) and Anand Bakshi (lyrics) and opted for Nadeem Shravan instead.
This movie also had some flaws. Like making an international call from a village, they make it through the telephone operator- trunk call method. It is really apalling because STD-ISD facilities have been available in rural India well before this movie was even launched. It is not good to show India in such poor light.
The music of this film is by Nadeem-Shravan and not by Anu Malik.I donot know who writes such reviews with no meaning at all.May be you got money from Mukta Arts regarding this.
The article: Ghai's formula clicked in Pardes - by Vishal V Ghadia has mentoned a fact wrongly. The music directors of the movie are Nadeem Shravan and not Anu Malik. I suppose its a small thing, but people writting articles should be well informed about the facts, it maybe entertainement, sports, literature or any other piece of news. Being a regular reader of rediffnews, off-late a lot of these errors have appeared in form or other. Hopefully, these errors will be rectified in the near future.
