In the novel, neither Rohr nor Fitch are the main leads. The main lead infact are a young couple, whose names escape me at the moment. While the guy manipulates the jury fom the inside, the girl, maniulates Fitch from the outside. Its a deadly game that they play, and one that they need to finish before Fitch finds out who they are. With the director mentioning none of the two, and the climax being in the wash room, I hope that the presence of a class act like Hoffmann and Hackman, has not made the director, change the content of the original, which was simply awesome.
