if you keep the worst movies ever made contest...this comes first... after seeing this...watching 'Janasheen' feels like watching 'God Father'...crap... btw..whats wrong with this reviewer...is he/she on some kinda dope?
This movie was a disappointment. I am a big fan of both Rahul Bose & Nandita Das, & for them to be led so misrably was a waste of their talent. This movie was not all bad - the two lead pairs, the story & to an extent the cinematography was quite good. It was the direction, the music & the supporting cast that left a lot to be desired. I don't mean to belittle Bollywood's golden boy, but Anant Balani cannot direct! He can however write a great story & screenplay (if you can overlook the blind painter and the ending: the foremer ludicrous & the latter amaturish). I have seen the brilliant origional, Run Lola Run, & that was a severly taut movie, there was no time for the viewer to relax or yawn or even blink,other wise you'd miss where Lola was. 1 Din 24 Ghante has no atmosphere, it lags through most of the film, the supporting chracters, except for the taxi driver & blind painter are wooden and ham it up & the music is screechy. An please!!! A blind pianter! How gullible do you think I am! Poor Anant Balani- judjing for the reviews of his other films, he should have been acclaimed for a story-writer, not director.
I usually do not pay attention to the reviewer's name but I will remember this one so that not to take him/her seriously. The short duration of the movie is really a blessing. I like Rahul Bose, but he is wasted and has no role at all. If Nandita Das did anything in the movie it is jogging/running and it was clumsy.
one of the worst films I have been unfortunate enuf to see...no coherence, superficial and unintentionally funny...they were rolling in the aisles, and No! it wasnt a jim carrey movie!
Prior to reading the review , while watching the movie i never realised it was only 90 minutes long. It felt like ages ... the movie was so bad !!! Entire Geography of Mumbai has been twisted ... to reach the Docks, Nandita runs from Joggers Park to Bandra Kurla Complex and then back again. Definitely not worth watching ... I am not sure which movie your reviewer saw !!!
This was the worst possible review on a worst possible movie, though can't make out which one is more worse, movie or the review!.
Movies like this should be banned, there should be a review board (like censor board) which should watch each movie and validate that the movie is not so bad that it can't be watched at all.
New directors though, should definitely go for this movie, just to learn what all should not be shown to the viewers!
