I too am from a village on the banks of the Vaigai - and I think we both share some knowledge of the amazing culture of South Tamil nadu. I was very much impressed by "Kuradi punnal". Having some knowledge of how extremist social movements work, some of your scenes, were right on the mark. (For instance, the bombing of the minister's car, and the recent attempt on Mr. Chandrababu Naidu's life! Could it be like in the movie, the insiders who give the information are probably policemen?).
