VAMSI and KRISHNA VAMSI are two different directors.
Krishna Vamsi is Ram Gopal Varma's assistant and he is the one who directed "Shakthi-The power" in Hindi, but he is different from Vamsi.
Vamsi is another director who made a come back.
This is not the first time Rediff has published wrong information, once you guys were mistaken about "Uday Kiron" who is a Hero. In that article you stated that Uday Kiran is the lead female starring opposite Pavan Kalyan?
I appreciate your coverage of the articles, but please put some more effort and confirm the news with someone from the southern field before publishing. This article about Vamsi/Krishna Vamsi is really ridiculous. Please see that this doesn't happen again.. or its better to stop publishing such articles since there are many Telugu Film websites.
Krishna Vasmsi director of Shakti, Anthahpuram, Murari, Gulabi, Ninne Pelladutha, Khadgam etc. has been wrongly addressed as Vamshi (a senior director belonging to the older generation) the director of movies like Avunu Vaalidaaru Ishtapadaru (Ravi Teja, Kalyani), Anveshana (Kartick, Banupriya), Ladies Tailor (Rajendraprasad, Archana) and April Okati Viduthala (Rajendraprasad, Shobana), Detective Narada (Mohan Babu, Mohini) .
This error to be noted and this article retracted, in fairness to the above two personalities.
You havc written that Krishna Vamsi is the director of Donga Ramudu and Party and that he was the director of Shakti and also that he was a former assistant. All of them are wrong. That director is someone else. He only shares "Vamsi" part of the name with Krishna Vamsi.
There are two Vamsis directing Telugu films: Vamsi and Krishnavamsi. The bulk of the article is about the former. The only two things about Krishnavamsi that are present in this article is that he was a former assistant to Ramgopal Verma and directed Shakti. Rest of the articles refers only to Vamsi, who is much senior to Krishnavamsi.
