It's so bad that 'Devdas' thr superhit film in Sharukh Khan , Aishwarya Rai and Madhuri Dixit and especiall the directer of this film could not get th IIFA 2003 Awards. It's very bad. Bad Luck But next time. Buy Ce ya.
i also think the tamil movie "kannathil mutamittal" should have sent to the oscars. that movie was really good. devdas didn't deserve that honour because the older versions are much better than this version.
Frankly speaking "Devadas" by Sanjay Leela Bhansali does not deserve any award as a movie... The only award it could have got was for the set and the costume. Dilip kumar's "Devdas" is zillion times better than the present one.
He is lucky that the boolywood is passing thru the bankruptsy stage in cinema making ,other wise his devdas is nowhere in comparison to Dilip/Vaijayantimal a/Motilal's superb & immotal acting in Bimal Roy's presentation.He only exceeds in technicalities & lavish sets,nothing else!
