Comedy King Mahmood has gone physically but shall always be renembered by we people who have seen his films and admired him. People of todays generation fail to understand as to what comedy is. Mehmood not the comedian not the person but the actor himself had a great power of performing and becoming anyone and he was and still is the best no one can outwitt what he did in Padosan ............Hence he is to be remembered as he isnt.... but is among us .
Mahmood-bhaiyya has left his indelible footprints on the sands of Hindi Comedy/Cinema. I've thoroughly enjoyed his variety of portrayals on celluloid. He had a subtle message hidden behind each role. Despite going through sorrow - in some patches of his life - he managed to smile at life's foibles and brought joy and laughter into the lives of people who saw his films.
