Adoor Nizhal kuttu
by Ramesh on Sep 16, 2005 06:47 PM

I don't know how many people other than Tamil and Malayalam have been watched the movie. I request Adoor Productions to make the film with subtitle of regional languages.

Chemeen is not directed by Adoor. But the story of Chemeen was written by Adoor (I think so).

Nizhal kuttu

We can say Nizhal kuttu is the best film in India. Adoor never think about commercial collection. Also he does not invest large money to make a film. He uses his brain only. My request is Kamalhasan and Maniratnam also follow the way of Adoor's film making. Because, the problem is both are investing large money to make a single film. Instead of making one film like Hey Ram, he can make 4 excellent movies like Anbe sivam.

Concept

In this age of cliches, imagination lacks in way of creating original scripts. It is the capability of only a few in a million who can take this responsibility and make a great movie out of it. The story is absolutely simple but shows a wave of originality. I hope i can see this movie. It would be great if it is screened across India with good publicity.

Nizalkuthu: Another masterpiece
by Rakesh Mamodia on Aug 01, 2003 10:11 PM

A lot of applause for Prem. This is the way a review can make someone have a deep glance about a movie. An excellant work by him about the masterpiece by Great Adoor.

As always, Adoor is the best in his works. Even though I am unable to understand the language(I am a Hindi/ English speaking person), I have a deep desire for such movies. I hope I will be able to get this with Englisg subtitles.

Great Work
by Viswanathan on May 07, 2003 12:09 PM

Good piece of review for a great film. While reading this itself, the reader will feel about the movie. Agreed that this kind of reviews cannot be written for all those hi-fi masala hindi movies which don;t have anything in it. In these kind of movies the writer has to work hard to find any kind of wrong doings. Really really these films will rise the film standards to high level. It is high time that the Government come out of its "North is only India" syndrome and sending useless Hindi movies to Oscar awards and National awards.
