GV's suicide is a big loss to the Tamil film industry. His death is a warning and reflects the alarming state of the tamil film industry which is reeling under huge losses primarily due to piracy through VCD and astronomical payments to so called "stars". Its high time something is done to rectify these anomalies or we could hear more of these stories in the coming future.
I am an NRI residing in Malaysia and I am deeply moved to hear of GV's untimely death. My husband, a chartered accountant, used to be motivated reading about the success of GV. GV's suicide has come as a rude shock to us and we share our grievances with his family members.
