I read interview of jha and watch matrabhoomi also in kolkata film festival. though. This is the best film of kolkata festival. I saw some of the audience leaving the hall but in my opinian here the success of director. this kind of serius subject needs realistic treatment. you can't expect a beautiful entertainning film. People leave the hall as they were feeling guilty becauase everyone of us are utilising women in a very materialistic way. I am also a student in satyajit ray film and tv institute and i would love to make movies with this kind of treatment. A very big thanks to manish for raissing this issue in such a strong way.Keep continue
This message is for Manish. The plight of new talent has been at the rock bottom for over 2-3 decades. The physical and social infrastructure do not exist even to establish a presence. If the platform for establishment do not exist, we cannot think of encouragement. It is extremely unfortunate. I am keen on working with you. I have some scripts. If Manish Jha's film is "silent" as you say, how can the film be made in Hindi and later dubbed into English and French? Am I stupid, or is Manish or most likely the rediff genii who compiled the info?
