I am a Tamilian, who typically watches English movies (good ones only), Tamil movies and some Malayalam and Telugu movies. I believe some of the greatest film actors in this world include Marlon Brando, Al Pacino, Sivaji Ganesan, Toshiro Mifune, Robert di nero and........ Mohan Lal. Kamal Haasan is not far behind. I think the two greatest actors Indian has produced could be Sivaji Ganesan & Mohal Lal. Mohan Lal is one person "who can get into the role" like nobody in India does. And.. the charisma of Sivaji as an actor is unbeatable. If Sivaji lived hundreds of year back he would have been a King. Ok that aside, I think Mammooty is a very good actor (only more Macho than Mohan Lal) but not comparable to Mohan Lal.
Mohanlal is talented, ofcourse, but its high time he realise the fact that he needs to be very selective in his role selection. Else he will be spoiling the reputation he has earned over the years. His golden age is over!!!! Lets accept the reality!!!!!!!1
Mammooty has always been the better actor when compared to Mohanlal. Comedy was the only area where Mohanlal had an advantage. One of the reasons was because of his youthful appearance. Now, he has grown old and fat and should gracefully stop doing youthful roles.
Mammooty is like a diamond....timeless & priceless
there is no problem for mohan lal, he is the top actor in indian screen.and he will come back soon..no other actor in india has a wider range .no one can perform like him who is Vijayalekshmi?

mammootty`s new film is PATTALAM directed by LalJose PATTALAM is Onam release and it also became megahit Mohanlal is also another great actor in malayalam But he played sama role so many times 2003 is MAMMOOTTY`s year Really the most ever glamour great actor proves his talent
