If someone is trying to keep our culture & tradition alive than why should people criticise him, on the contrary they should support & give him more encouragement. The same is with Mr Barjatya who is trying to keep our culture & tradition alive by producing such family movies which anyone & everyone can watch without the fear of a bad scene during the movie but some uncultured & dirty minded people who only goto the cinema halls to see the heriones bare legs will not understand the effort put in by this great Director. I wish him all the best & like his previous movies i hope that even this is a block buster hit & hope he gets the inspirations to keep producing movies like this even in future. All the very best Mr Barjatya & keep the good work going if not for the youngters than atleast for those who still like to see our nations culture & tradition being depicted through your films

Kereena seems to be a round peg in a square hole called Main Prem Ki Deewani Hoon. Ohh gosh why is bollywood so much obsessed with this woman. Ironically everyone knows she is nothing but a female. Not an actress, not a model, not a vamp, not a comedian. If at all she is something, she is and will be unbearable on the screen.
Sooraj might have done better with Bipasha or at the least Aishwarya.

Agree.. Agree to the core.. The pakistanis have to be badly mauled until they have no strength left for hatred.. They are always going to be against india.. i think india should launch an all-out attack and annex pak to india.. the muslims there will live in the new india just like the muslims live in india today and additionally there will be no pakistan to instigate hatred among them

why does SB always make same movies with same story lines and same family background and same parties and same marriage occasions and same stupid love stories......???sick and tired of such unknown and unseen lifestyles!! when will hindi movie directors realise that most indians can not afford to live so lavishly and show what real indian lives are.......without trendy labeled outfits n foreign locations and mansions which look like hotel lounges!!!!
this is a comment to those who have replied to this article.. How come u guys are so mean? A guy says I could have made a better movie than MPKDH... Has the movie released????!!!!!! How come u give such a foolish statement when u haven't seen the film, man?? Are u writing comments just to degrade the filmmakers or wht? If so, u are in for waste here.. And the other guy says Sooraj Barjatya is a waste director.. Yes, he is waste becoz he deals with great subjects like family bonding, relationships between a family, etc.... which is not followed by guys like u who would love to be alone in ur life with ur wife or girlfriend... U must be living in the US where u are not used to see emotional movies and the tears associated with it.. That's why u don't like Sooraj's movies... he is a master in making movies.. Movies with family subjects must be appreciated... I am a above 18 year old guy, and if this message hurts anyone, i am sorry.. I am hurt when someone insults good subjects...

Take it easy man...... only a comment..... abt a stupid movie......... going by SB's previous movies i think these guys are justified in making their comments.... you don't have to take the trouble of actually seeing the movie to know what it is about...... The only change in the script I notice is that this time we have a parrot instead of a Kabootar........ Stop watching mushy movies like these and ........ for Gods sake grow up........

Pathetic comment. To show family bonding doesn't mean u've to show palatial houses...naach ghana...kitty parties etc. There r lot many other 'cinematic' ways to show the bonding between members of a family.
Sooraj is a 'tear-jerker' director. Except for a few films over the past decade even 'declared' hits (Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, K3G) 've been pathetic.
I am sure lot many people reading over this comment/article would agree with me.
main prem ki.... is surely going to be one of the biggest hit if our (great filmaker) makes the film a "free to view". but as the indian audience cant stand the self procliamed queen of bollywood.this ship seems to be ddomed from the start itself.i could have made a better movie than this
