Bhoot was on the same storyline of RAAT which was made by ramgopalvarma only thing was he was not famous that time so no one appreciated it.and also bhoot scenes were copied from Night Shyamalan`s SIGNS and also exorcist.nothing big about the movie..ending was bad, shud have made it more supernatural..

Night Shyamalan sucks!and just because its hollywood it does not make his movies great. Of course I admit that he tried to scare a bit in "The Signs" but not worth it.Underrating an Indian Bollywood director is not worth appreciating
So all Varma had to do was rip exorcist off for story, several elements, characters, even scare scenes, use sixth sense current day chilling tricks and get some good actors to make a movie that we will go gaga over. Great. What a load of crap. Nonsensical ending to add to it all.
Not a darn thing was scary abt this movie.
In comparison, Varma's own Kaun was brilliant, original and 10 times scarier.
Well......... I really dont understand. I mean it is one of the good horror shows from bollywood. The way people are reacting to it, I am having a good time here laughing on all the articles on bhoot. Beleive me. Myself and my friend were surprized. Come on. People dying of heart attack? I just cant beleive it. It is very obvious that Mr.varma has tried to weave tha magic of the EXORCIST again. But good try. Better luck next time.
I still don't understand what is so scary about the movie, It is a whole, whole lot less scarier than a whole bunch of hollywood scare movies. The people who got scared by watching this movie, must have watched a scary movie for the first time in their entire life.
I just don't understand what is so great about the film ? True its surely one of the better horror films from bollywod and most importantly better than the Ramsay stuff which bollywood is mostly used to. But for this what is so great about this film ? why is the media giving undue publicity ? If rediff wants to promote the movie its good for the film. But one should not forget that Rediff has given bad reviews for some really good films which have turned out to be super hits. The recent example being Chalte Chalte(it had called the movie a flop within two days of its release). Its not that Chalte Chalte is a great film. But surely a better fare of recent times.Whether Bhoot or Chalte Chalte or any stuff, if the film is a hit its by its merit. Agencies like rediff need not give undue publicity to extreme that it has given to Bhoot.
