meanwhile, it would have been better if sunil darshan had titled his movie as 'andeez' instead of 'andaz'
in passing, i am wondering how come the people who opposed skin show during the miss world paegent in bangalore, are now completely silent...
what a stupid article...just because andaaz is a "hit" and the main actresses are semi-nude in the movie...does that really mean it is alright or that indian audiences have accepted semi-clad actresses in staring roles? does that mean each actress must dress like the andaaz girls for a film to be a hit? I don't think so
geez!! where is indian cinema heading for ?? where are the good old days when the viewers got to watch real good acting . semms to me as if indian cinema today is all about models in scanty outfits. hav u seen andaaz ??!! god wat was in the movy ??

The people of India should mature themselves by encouraging the art of acting instead of going towards the skimpy and vulgar movies. Acting is not about exposing the skin, one can find it in dance bars or disco's, we need entertainment and value for our money. I dont think many people appreciated the work in Armaan, the theaters were empty just because of the fact that people didnt want to appreciate the art of the movie but most of them didnt feel they would get the skin show. My dear friends its not necessary to bank on the fate of bollywood for all those vulgar shows which isn't needed. Entertainment needs attention and DONT WATCH THE MOVIES which are sold on the name/fame of modern soceity, we still have our ethics alive and our hindi movies should not compete with english ones on the costumes alone, we have big B, Shah Rukh Khan, Ashwarya, Tabu, Ajay Devgan, Sunny Deol, Kamal Hassan, AR Rehman, Amir Khan, Sanjay Bansali and this list doesn't end. Aren't we wasting money and talent on the cheaper part of Entertainment! think of it, it just takes few seconds of your thoughts.
Media is India is great! One side bollywood want to compare everthing with Hollywood in terms of technology, quality, acting, photography, graphics effect etc etc. All the time waiting to be nominated in some award provided by forgine institution. I jusst don't understand why media is making news if some one is showing skins, is it some thing new / different / uniqe thing is happning in film industries. I don't think so. Just media wants to sale news nothing else by writing such stories.
The Hindi films nowadays looks like ads of Kamasutra. The day the models started turning actresses and actors- the basic Indianness of the Hindi movies flew out of the window.Not that the movies were consisting only Devthas earlier. But it was tolerable. Either it is a lady who is totally covered in clothes (in fact excess) or nothing at all.Whether it is Devdas or K3G or Andaaz- none of them are anywhere near to anyone's heart.Movies like Bend it like Beckham somewhere strikes a chord with the people's lives. Please bring in some good actors and actresses.Please make films which connects with the audience.Why are good actors like Naseeruddin Shah and Om Puri not acting in any Indian movies nowadays? there is a dirth of good films and good film makers. Hope some good people will step in and rescue the Film industry from these present set of morons.
Gee! Can anyone of them act like Kajol or Madhuri? One of the statements says Isha K was not recognised until she did the "Khallas" number and now she is flooded with offers.So..we have all the models in the industry vying who can wear the skimpiest clothes.So where the heck is talent? Simple answer...IT LIES IN YOUR BOOTY or BODY. I don't think Bollywood needs a Helen Hunt or Smita Patil now.We need Shakilas....duh!!
Priyanka and a Lara have potential? Yes potential as long as the skin shows the moment they cover up , the audiences will run. Ofcourse the skin show is what saved Andaaz . Well these kind of Miss Indias have resorted to stripping to save their careers as they have no talent. Shameless thats all I cna say for both of them.
