Dear editor, My first aquaintance with Late Jhony Walker saheb, was with the shri Bhakri's film "THOKAR" released in 53/54.,in which Shammi kapoor, was the hero, and which also boasted of Late lyricistMajaz'z lyric, sung by Late Talaat Mahmood, "Ai ghume dil kyan karoon aai wahshate dil kya karoon ". Probably that was his first appearance in that film. The drunkards role ( to be followed in many more films later ) he played in that movie was done with such finesse that he left an indelible impression. He was an entertainer par excellence. May his soul rest in peace.
What a sad and untimely loss!!!. He was not only a great character but a beautiful human being. He was, no doubt, the Bob Hope of India!!! We all love him and will miss him deeply. He will be remembered forever. May his soul rest in peace, and god bless his family.
No doubt Johnny Waker was a great comedian and we will always miss him as a great actor. It is our pray to almighty that this grate soul may always remain in piece at heaven and give enough courage to his kith and kinfs to overcome this loss. Our salute to Johny.
You still live in our memories and continue to live. We remember your genuine comedy, free from vulgarity. The good thing is the difficult thing to do. You stood by it and have shown us the way. I can never forget your role in Anand.
