Darna Mana Hai will definitely work with those who like different kind of films and not the mushy melodramas. But films like DMH have to succeed if we want our films to get recognition outside India. And I am not talking of Box office collections outside India but about the quality.
The movie was really cool. Almost 2 months back i had gone to the theater expecting Bhoot to be really a very good movie. But i was dissappointed as bhoot darana bhool gaya. THis time I went to darna mana hai without any prenotion about the movie and what unfolded on the screen was a true thriller movie. I loved the way the story was told. The sceens by shilpa shetty might look very dumb.. but the story of Vivek - Nana pathekar, Saif were cool. The best part was DARNA MANA HAI was different. It was not the same run out of the mill story. One should appriciate this fact.
I have only word to say "Excellent" But Ram gopal verma deserve for more.After seeing this movie I feel that he is just the right person to start a whole new stream of cinema in India. The "Differen type movies" Cinema. And the most important thing is that it is the full entertainer. So i dont think that it is any lesser what you pay for your tickets.
so many negative comments and sweeping statements-before knowing a thing about movies, or even seeing the movie being talked about. Good thing none of you jaundiced viewers got into movie making.
Not even having seen the trailors one could tell (just from hearing the awesome sundtrack) that this movie is going to be not just something different but something quite captivatingly uniqe as well.
Well I saw the movie yesterday-and it completely blew me away!! Everything from the effortlessly intertwined story line, to the very slick cinematography, editing, camera work, background sounds/music, etc-was Very powerful-and well thought out.
It is discouraging and dampening viewers like some of us in this comment column-that totally take the energy out of new thoughts, concepts, and talented movie makers.
