Hey guys, the movie is good. I would say atleast for 60% of the movie. But I dont understand when we have creativity, why our directors go to holloywood. This movie is a sheer copy of "ENTITY". For the average Indians, seems like a good movie with lots of special effects, but I have a question for the director WHY DID YOU KILL THIS MOVIE AT THE END? WHY? What possesed you buddy? Everytime we go to see an Indian movie we see lot of scenes copied from Hollywood movies, including the #1 QAYAMAT, which is a copy of THE ROCK. Are we ever going to come up with our originals?
I do not agree at all with the ratings rediff gave to this movie. Hawa is a well made movie. So what if it is a copy. There has been a good effort to do this movie. By now I am convinced that only the dumbest movies make it in Bollywood like Chalte Chalte and Andaaz. It is about time movies like Armaan, Hawa and Saaya to show that not every story is a pleasant love story. There are more important issues that intelligent human beings might be interested in. Kudos to creative minds that dare to be different. Now watch it for youself and decide for yourself.
First of all, I am HUGELY disappointed with the Film Critics/Reviewers at rediff!! You guys have all your facts wrong and do a shoddy job of presenting facts in your reviews, one expects much more from a film reviewer!
Now about HAWA...oh what a let down, specially from TABU! You name one department of the film from editing, to story to screenplay to sound editing, to acting..just name it and I will point out a million flaws in it. For example, there is a scene in the movie where TAbu is walking on sand gravel and you can hear her foot steps like she is walking with heels on a marble floor! and then her rape scene which she feels guilty of enjyoing!! Now how many women will sleep that sound and deep after having been raped 4 times in the same house and then NOT wakeup the entire length of the rape!!! Everything is so unbelieveable!
Lastly, the flim is not a remake of The Entity! Yes the basic plot is a lift from that movie, but mostly its an idain version of the cult classic Poltergiest! See the Entity and Poltergiest and you will know what I am talking about!
a useless & senseless movie .........another insult for the orignal english movie.....there still no logical thinking prevailing in bollywood...... for heaven sake make some thing orignal.........
well after seein tht movie i really fall short of words i must say..i mean wht did the director think while makin such a crappy and stupid movie..i mean the director has tried really hard to scare but wht the heck its more like watchin sum cartoon flick..where everthin is so damn fake..and yeah not to forget the ending its so damn fake ufffff i really feel these kinda directors have no brains..and yeah i really dint xpect an acress like tabu to do such c-grade roles..well no comments beyond ..1 can just imagine wht kinda movie it must be..!!
