i think devdas has veen one of the most amazing films we have ever had. everyone was perfect in their roles.it surely deserves the nominations for the oscars too though winning might not be sure since their are other big films in competition. but we should not forget that participating is what matters and not winning!!!!
Well, what did the director expect?????? Of course Devdas was going to make it big with a cast of Shah Rukh and Madhuri. In my opinion these two are one of Bollywoods enigmatic filmi couples. They both light up the film and no matter how disappointing the film may be the acting of these two and just there presence makes the film a hit.
Apart from the dirtiness of Devdas it was a great film. Also Shah Rukh did act his drunkness very well but it would have been more pleasurable if he had shown a more positive charachter. But then again I suppose the whole point of the way he acted was to show a drunkard pathertic loony toon.
Oh well, never mind.. this was a good film and so was Hum Tumhare Hain Sanam. Sure miles better than films like Mujhe Kuch Kehna hea, which was pathetic.
