Dear Sir/Nadam,
Ref news regarding Mr.Florian Gallenberger, the Oscar-winning German director, plans to shoot a Bengali film with an all-Indian cast. He hopes to premiere the movie at next year's Berlin Film Festival.
Please convey my thanks to Mr.Florian Gallenberger for selection of indian culture.
I will highly appericaite if Mr.Florian Gallenberger will look into punjabi culture. There are so many sad stories/Thesis are lying in every indian university like Mirza sahiban, Sassi Pannu, Sohni Mahival.

Thanks

Bengalis are the most tolerant, progressive and ofcourse learned people in the country.FRom Tagore to Satyajit Ray all of them express their feelings in Bengali. So definately this is a wright choise.

It is heartening to note that Kolkata was chosen as a location & Bengali as a medium. With all the cynicism faced by Bengal & Bengalees such instances come as a relief in relentless pursuit of finesse over affluence. I hope that Indian cinema & it's financers realise the aesthetic gold mine situated there and for a change have a closer look at it's possibilities rather than calling everything & everyone in Bengal dead & non-functional. Also, may we Bengalees realise our potential & stop crying & cribbing for a moment to look positively & constructively to our future.
